Can you sing? If so, this competition is for you!

The Voice

Cloud County Community College, SAB, and KVCO are hosting The Voice on November 15th, at 7:00 p.m. in Cook Theatre. Tuesday is the Blind Auditions, where you come up with a song and the judges will make decide if they want you on their team or not. If multiple coaches "turn their chair" for you; the singer gets to select which team he or she would like to be a part of.

The returning "coaches" this year are: Shane Britt, Marc Malone, Heather Gennette, and Tasha Riggins.

If you'd like to sign up to audition - the sign up sheet is in KVCO. Anyone who signs up must have a song of a minute and thirty seconds (the karaoke version) with them for the blind audition day.

Once singers have been selected by the coaches, the teams will break off and work on their next song for the winner of the live show. The live show will be December 1st, in Cook Theatre.

The winner of The Voice will receive a recording contract and airplay with KVCO and a $500 Scholarship. The second place winner gets a $300 Scholarship. Lastly, the third place winner gets a $100 scholarship. Singers have until Tuesday at noon to sign up in the radio station.

For all you non-singers out there; don't miss this awesome night of entertainment!
