Are you prepared?

Midterms are right around the corner, which means it is time to start writing that paper you have been putting off for the last two weeks. Well, hopefully you are not in that situation, but if you are there are many resources that you can utilize to help you along the way.

The Student Success Center serves as a test proctoring service, a quiet study area as well as having tutoring services. If you need to have your midterm proctored for a course, you may want to get over to the SSC as soon as you can. Appointment spots fill up quickly, so hurry before time runs out. You may also want to stop by and grab a tutor schedule so that you can plan your midterm week out. The SSC also allows checking out of Texas Instrument Calculators as long as you have a CCCC ID. The SSC is open Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm.

The Library is another great place for resources. The library has access to many different databases that you could utilize to cite sources. They also are home to a computer lab and printing services if you happen to need to print off some citations. The Library is open Monday through Thursday 7:45 am until 9:00 pm. and Fridays 7:45 am until 5:00 pm and Sundays 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Listed below are a couple of helpful YouTube videos about how to study for a final exam (or midterm) and how to create a Final Exam Study schedule. Thomas Frank is the founder of College Info Geek and has many tips that may help you. Good luck with your midterms.
